The CCPN is led by an Executive Committee (Board of Directors) and Coordinating Committee,
and is supported by a Project Management Team, and five Expert Panels. Priority initiatives,
or actions, for the CCPN will be driven by the work of these groups.
Board of Directors (Executive Committee) The CCPN Board of Directors (Executive Committee) is the leadership group providing strategic and operational oversight to the CCPN under the guidance of the Coordinating Committee's strategic directions. Responsibilities of the Executive Committee are to:

Coordinating Committee The Coordinating Committee provides leadership to the CCPN by enacting the vision, mission, guiding principles, and strategic priorities. The Coordinating Committee will communicate with members of the CCPN on a regular basis and will oversee activities to carry out specific actions of the Network. Project Management Team Under direction of the CCPN Chair, the Project Management Team provides strategic and operational support to the work of the Executive, Coordinating Committee, and Expert Panels. The Project Management Team will support the coordinated rollout of priority initiatives and monitoring and evaluation activities, and will provide support to CCPN planning activities. Expert Panels The CCPN has established five Expert Panels to provide planning and coordination to the CCPN. Each Expert Panel is focused around one or more of the Network's six strategic priorities. The five Expert Panels are:
The Expert Panels are responsible for conducting analysis of CVD gaps, developing annual work plans, ensuring successful implementation of work plan activities, and identifying CCPN priority initiatives. The Panels will bring forth recommendations for identifying CCPN Priority Initiatives for implementation during each planning cycle and will provide oversight to implementation of these priority initiatives. The Expert Panels will serve as the coordinating mechanism for regional activity under their respective areas of responsibility. Each of the Expert Panel Chairs will act to ensure maximum integration with the activities of other standing committees.
